Everyday

"Every day a different body. Every day a different life. Every day in love with the same girl.
There’s never any warning about where it will be or who it will be. A has made peace with that, even established guidelines by which to live: Never get too attached. Avoid being noticed. Do not interfere (Levithan,2012)."

Everyday is a young adult romance and fantasy novel. It was written by David Levithan and published on August 28, 2012. Everyday is about the story of A, a person who wakes up occupying a different body each day. A doesn't have a real name, nor a precise gender or sexuality. A just inhabits a body just for 24 hours and wakes up the next day with another one.A never inhabits the same body more than once. A has his own memory but were also able to know the memories of the person he is in.That is the life of A, like everyday.

The story starts when A woke up in the body of Justin, a teenage boy. At school, A meets Justin's girlfriend, Rhiannon, and feels a unique connection to her. Based on Justin's memories, A can tell that Justin and Rhiannon are having a hard time in their relationship. So A invited Rhiannon to the beach to comfort her. A just felt something special about Rhiannon, and told her that he is not Justin on the beach, that he is A.

Rhiannon was able to know the real situation of A and understands him. Everyday they would meet and A is in a different body. A would sometimes be a man, woman, child, and old man. Rhiannon understands the situation of A, and realizes that a relationship with A is just completely impossible even if she wants to.

My favorite character would be A. A is so helpful and positive towards the people he is with even in a short period of time. A can adjust with other people ,specifically people with different personalities. Moreover, when A met Rhiannon, he was more vibrant. He find ways to meet up with Rhiannon even if it's hard for the both of them. I can relate to him because even if he is different, he was still able to embrace himself and tell Rhiannon his true self and identity, and I like that attitude.

I think I would not change the plot of the story or even the characters, even though he and Rhiannon did not work out. Everything happens for a reason, and I believe A will find the answers Someday.

Everyday comes with a sequel Another day and Someday. Everyday is also a  2018 American romantic fantasy drama film directed by Michael Sucsy and written by Jesse Andrews,
